This Christmas the Rainy River Evangelical Covenant Church are busy visiting most of the homes in Rainy River handing out invitations and a New Testament inviting them to our annual Christmas Service.  We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to worship this time of the year.  Remember “The Reason for the Season”.

We celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, who was born of lowly means, to eventually die on the cross for you and me.

It is this faith in Jesus that gives me hope, not only for eternity, for my day to day existence.

It is with this faith that we wish you all a glorious Christmas of 2009, and a blessed New Year for 2010.  One that will let the light of our Saviour shine through to all around.
